Brighton police are trying to find the driver of a pickup involved in the death of a motorcyclist.
About 2 p.m. June 20, a furniture cushion dislodged from a truck bed on the Bridge Street off-ramp of southbound U.S. 85, according to a news release.
A motorcyclist swerved to avoid the cushion and crashed. Police do not believe the truck made contact with the motorcycle, and the truck driver may have been unaware of the crash when leaving the scene, the release said.
Anyone with information about the crash, the truck or truck driver is asked to call police at 303-655-2382 or email amgarcia@brightonco.gov.
