Toronto FC and Canada Soccer have been growing rapidly, and we want Waking the Red to follow that same trajectory.

This site has a long history of developing professional talent while also giving hobbyists the opportunity to have their words read. With 2021 being a tough season for all of us – and a lot of writers securing positions with bigger entities – we’re looking to restock and retool, and we need your help to continue to provide top-notch coverage for the beautiful game in this country.

Depending on the volume and quality of work, we may have paid positions available. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to make valuable connections within the industry, potentially attend matches as credentialed media—all while having your talents amplified to our existing audience.

Whether you’re a talented writer, editor, graphic designer (or whatever!) with a serious passion for soccer in Canada—Toronto FC, the Canadian National Teams, or the Canadian Premier League—we want to hear from you.
