Quincy police looking for two suspects in armed robbery outside a gas station - NCWLIFE News

Quincy police are looking for two men they say robbed a man at gunpoint outside a Quincy gas station early Monday morning.

The victim told police he was washing his car window at the gas station about 4:15 a.m. when a black Honda Civic pulled in and two men got out of the car. One of the men, he said, pulled a handgun and demanded cash and his wallet.

The suspects then reportedly fled out of town southbound on Highway 281 in the Honda, which was later found by a Grant County Sheriff’s Office deputy abandoned near Beverly Burke Road and Highway 243.

The Quincy Police Department said the Honda had earlier been reported stolen.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact MACC Dispatch at 787-2222 and ask for Detective Brad Poldervart.
