BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Many employers are facing a new challenge since Hurricane Michael blew through the area.

"Everything was devastated, everybody was devastated. As the branch manager of a home health agency, we were really left wondering how we were gonna pick up the pieces and move forward," said Jenna Andrews, the branch manager at BrightStar Care.
Andrews says moving forward has been difficult with a limited staff.
"We quickly realized you know that a lot of our clients had been displaced but even more of our staff had been displaced," said Andrews.
Andrews isn't the only one struggling to hire more employees nearly a year and a half after Hurricane Michael.
Nancy Luther with Adecco Staffing is also feeling the effects of the storm.
"We probably have about 23 positions open right now," said Luther.
But Saturday, employers are creating a one-stop shop at the 33rd Annual Bay County Job Fair, working to build a full staff.
"Employers are still going to have to be in that stance where they're having to get creative and be a little competitive as they're looking for workforce and we do know that there are some employers that when it comes to seasonal work they'll look to other sources whether that's hiring visa workers or whatever they have to do to meet their employment needs," said Brittany Rock with CareerSource Gulf Coast.
Needs, that cover a range of jobs.
"We're in great need of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, care givers," said Andrews.
"Clerical, accounting, I actually have a lot of accounting positions open right now," said Luther.
If you're seeking a job, employers are ready to meet you.
The Bay County Job Fair will be held at Gulf Coast State College in the Student Union East building.
Saturday the doors open at 9 a.m. to veterans, active duty, and military family members.
At 10 a.m., the job fair is open to the general public.
There will be about 60 employers ready to hire.
