Tyler Cameron says obsessed fan went to his home looking to join 'Quarantine Crew' - Page Six

Tyler Cameron allegedly got an unwelcome visit from a fan hoping to join his “quarantine crew.”

The former “Bachelorette” star claimed on Instagram that the unnamed woman traveled all the way from Honolulu to his childhood home in Jupiter, Florida, where he and a group of friends have been staying during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I cannot make this up,” Cameron, 27, said. “There is a lady outside of our house. We have no idea who she is. She has her dog and two suitcases … this is out of control.”

A rep for the Jupiter Police Department told Page Six on Thursday that no arrests were made and that no restraining orders were filed.

“We documented the incident,” Public Information Officer Kristin Rightler said. “There was no intruder.”

When asked whether police are going to guard Cameron’s home more closely now, Rightler added, “We do routine patrols anyway throughout every part of Jupiter, so I think that’s something that we do automatically.”

A police report obtained by Page Six showed officers responded to a “suspicious incident” call at around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The document states when police arrived at Cameron’s home, the woman, who is “in her 60s,” was “rambling, saying that she has been dating the caller’s brother for three months.”

Police noted that the woman appeared to be “non-threatening.”

During the coronavirus pandemic, Cameron, his brothers Ryan and Austin Cameron, and their friends Matt James, Olivia Faria, Jacob “Brown Bear” Laham and Kate Dooley have been living together and documenting their quarantine. “Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown, who dated Cameron on her season, was also in quarantine with the group for a few weeks, but returned home to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, last week to be with her family.

The group has been very active on social media, specifically on the TikTok app, and has a “Quarantine Crew” Instagram account that boasts more than 300,000 followers.

Regarding the fan, Cameron also said in an Instagram Live “press conference” that the woman allegedly contacted several members of their crew via DM.

Laham said they first noticed the woman when she pulled up in a cab, dressed in a white hoodie, and waved from outside of their front yard, shouting, “Brown Bear! Brown Bear!”

“I was too nervous to go outside,” the filmmaker admitted.

Austin said the woman claimed to have been dating Cameron “since Valentine’s Day.” “Well, that’s news to me,” he said he told her. “I just wasn’t sure what to say about that.”

Ryan, who is Cameron’s youngest brother, said the woman told him, “I can’t believe you don’t know who I am. I know everybody in the Quarantine Crew.”

“This just goes to show you guys to respect people’s privacy,” Cameron added. “Just because you know where I live, don’t go be posting the front of my house because we’re outside. Thank God it’s a harmless lady who happens to have a lot of love for me and the rest of the Quarantine Crew, but it could be someone who could be more dangerous.”

The reality star admitted that he and his friends are a bit “shooken up” by the incident.

James, who is Cameron’s best friend from New York and has been in quarantine with him for weeks, showed on Instagram that police were called to remove the woman from their property.

Page Six has reached out to Jupiter Police Department for more information.

A rep for Cameron declined to comment. Page Six has reached out to the other members of the “quarantine crew” for comment.
