CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa Department of Corrections says a man convicted of second-degree robbery in Scott County didn’t return to the Larry A. Nelson Residential Center as required on Saturday.
Authorities are now looking for Elijah Malik Hayes, who was admitted to the facility on January 14.
He is 24 years old, six feet tall, and weighs 187 pounds.
The Iowa Department of Corrections says anyone who knows where Hayes is should call police.
